EXTERNAL STATEMENT
Working Hours Statement
International Workplace Group

This statement outlines International Workplace Group plc’s (‘IWG’) approach to working hours and flexible working practices to ensure that employees are employed in an ethical manner, with fairness, well-being, and operational efficiency considered. This statement applies to all IWG employees and should be read in conjunction with local labour laws, and employment contracts.

IWG considers the potential indirectly discriminatory effect of its standard working practices, including the number of hours to be worked, the times at which these are to be worked and the place at which work is to be done, when considering requests for variations to these standard working practices and will not refuse such requests based on any protected characteristic.

Compliance with Legal Requirements

IWG is committed to complying with applicable laws, regulations, and standards related to working hours and monitor developments to ensure this statement reflects evolving legal and regulatory requirements.

Wages and Working Hours

IWG does not exceed the maximum hours of work defined by applicable law.

All employees are paid fair wages which meet or exceed the legal minimum standards. Other than legally mandated deductions, all other deductions from wages will be made only with the express and written consent of the employee and in compliance with applicable laws and international human rights standards.

Work is conducted based on freely agreed and documented terms of employment. All employees, whether permanent, fixed term, or casual, are provided with employment documents that are freely agreed to and respect employees’ legal and contractual rights.

Supply Chain Workers

We extend these expectations throughout our value chain and require suppliers to operate in line with our Supplier Code of Conduct, including the provision of fair wages and lawful working hours. Further detail is provided in the Supplier Code of Conduct.

Engagement and Governance

Our HR function promotes awareness of labour rights and periodically reviews working arrangements to support fairness and alignment with international labour standards, including the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work and the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights.

All IWG team members have access to relevant training to encourage compliance with local laws and have access to open and anonymous systems to share issues via our ethics portal which is operated by an independent third party.

This statement is reviewed annually and updated in line with evolving best practice, and regulatory requirements.
