Introduction

This policy sets out International Workplace Group plc (‘IWG’) commitment to supporting the health, wellbeing, and engagement of our employees. We recognise that our employees are crucial to the ongoing success of the business. By maintaining a safe, supportive, and healthy working environment, IWG aims to enable our people to perform effectively and contribute to the long-term success of the organisation.

Scope and Applicability

This policy applies to all team members across IWG, including contractors or third parties providing services on behalf of IWG. IWG reserves the right to amend this policy at any time. Where there is a conflict with local legislation, the local laws and regulations take precedence. This policy supersedes any previous local or global policy.

This policy does not form part of the contract of employment.

Policy Statement

IWG is committed to compliance and will endeavour to meet all regulations and standards related to employee wellbeing. We will annually review our Employee Wellbeing Policy to reflect changes to the business and changes in applicable laws and regulations.

Creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive work culture

IWG recognizes and values the strengths of our global workforce and is committed to fostering an inclusive culture where all employees feel respected, supported, and able to perform at their best. IWG promotes wellbeing, through encouraging open communication and providing confidential reporting channels through our Right to Speak helpline (see our Whistleblower Policy for further information).

Providing our employees supportive and responsible leadership

IWG is committed to developing leaders who actively support the wellbeing of their teams. We embed wellbeing into leadership training and performance expectations, ensuring managers have the skills to support their teams and disseminate available wellbeing resources across the business.

Delivering learning and development materials on physical and mental wellbeing

Through IWG’s e-learning platform, IWG Academy, employees have access to more than 25,000 e-learning modules across a broad range of subjects, including health, wellbeing and personal development.

Roles and Responsibilities

IWG’s independent Board of Directors, regularly reviews and assesses performance and ensures alignment with its corporate strategy. The Board sets targets and frameworks to comply with, for the business, based on the business department and jurisdiction.

Our Human Resource (HR) team continuously works to protect and promote employee wellbeing through improved due diligence practices and awareness building of company policies and resources. The Human Resources Team is responsible for ongoing review of our Employee Wellbeing Policy and updating the wider business on risks and issues based on impact assessments. IWG supports public policies and laws that promote health and wellbeing for all. All IWG team members have access to relevant training to encourage compliance with local laws whilst also having access to open and anonymous systems to share issues via our ethics portal which is operated by an independent third party.
